Reading passage:- Matthew 12:1-21
The Pharisees are one people I really don't understand, you do good they complain, you do bad they complain.
The knew the laws such that anyone that does mistake they will want to hole it against the person.
If you read the passage above, you will see that the disciples of Jesus were so hungry that they had to pluck the corn to eat and the Pharisees drew Jesus attention to the scenario, thank God for Jesus, he is always too worded to give them answers that will shut them up and that he did.
The second scenario was that of Jesus healing the man with a withered hand, take note that this two things all happened on Sabbath day, which the Pharisees doesn't joke about.
When they queried Jesus about the miracle he answered them by asking them a question in return.
They were speechless as well, just as they were In the story of the adulterous woman that was caught in the act.
You see that even the Pharisees would have helped their loved ones or Ben their sheep on the Sabbath day but yet why did they now did as if they were saint, they just wanted a way to accuse Jesus, because that question was a bait, but thank God for Jesus that he overcame them.
11.And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
Another thing I saw here was that Jesus was wise enough to withdrew himself when he first heard of their plan to kill him, not that he was scared of them or afraid to die, but the fact was that he it wasn't time for him to die, and one lesson I learnt here is that its not every time you have to proof a point, there are some situation you have to leave bare to avoid unnecessary dramas or problems, and that's exactly what Jesus, he never wanted to wait till the Pharisees comes to catch him then he will just disappear to showcase his God given talent or perhaps to show that he is the son of God.
Learn from Jesus, and your life will be so simple.
Even when the Pharisees were finding faults In all Jesus did, yet the really couldn't lay a hand on Jesus, this is exactly what happens when you let Jesus drive your life, he fights for you even when your accusers are much. Just lean on him, so not depend on your won understanding.
