In Bangkok, there's a lot of cat and dog cafes around. It seems like a trend there. :D
Luckily, the hotel we were staying at has a cat cafe literally just across the street. It's called Caturday Cat Cafe and yeah it reminds me of something... Caturday community haha.

Before coming in, they will require you to wash your hands with soap and remove shoes as well.

Buying a coupon worth 200 Baht is also required but these are consumable.

There are plenty of tables inside but most of them you'd have to squat. The nice thing about this place is the cats just walk and chill around. Sometimes even on top of the table while you're eating lol but they won't touch your food.

DSCF1607.jpg

This guy here was on the table before we sat. He's so huge. I think he's a Maine coon but I'm not sure since we didn't ask. :P

Another cat was also sleeping under the table. You can't wake them up while they're sleeping so can only pet those who are awake. It was stated in their rules what you can and can't do although I think it's also just common sense not to wake them up as you also wouldn't want someone to wake you up just to touch you. :D

The cats just freely roam around and they're okay with pets too. They're so used to people.

He looks like Ken Jeong. lol ha! gaaaay!!!

Soon some of the cats walked to our table and sat there. There was a lot of them at one point just chilling under the table or beside me... then I realized I had weed inside my bag so that's probably what attracted them lol.

When food is served, the cats will just look at the food. When they start making some moves to touch it, the staff will tell them no lol.

Their food was okay, nothing special about it. The cheesecake was 138 Baht and coffee was around 148 Baht (I forgot lol). So in 200 Baht coupon you'll have to pay like 50-100 Baht difference for 2 stuff.

Who woke this cat up >:(

This one tho has a resting bitch face. >:[

There are trees inside and when you thought no one was there, you'd see a cat lol. They're mostly sleeping when they're there. Crazy how many cats here are. Probably 20-30.

The more you look at it, the more cats you see. XD

Cat toilet :P

The cafe was just pretty chill and I think they didn't have any time limit so you can stay as long as you like. It smells a bit like pee inside like how a room with cat litter would smell like but it's not that bad but definitely something you'll notice. It's worth visiting and the price was also not bad! :D

Beautiful picture Thanks

How cute!I never been in this kind of cafe before, but i have two cats so I love them all haha im sure the if i see they are fine phisically and mentally ill enjoy the place 💜 really nice post, enjoy the picts and the reading! 💞 Hugs and success 💞

Wow! I haven't been to a cat cafe as yet, and just seeing all these cats triggered happy hormones.
A visit to one of these has to be therapeutic in every way 🙌

They are, but you should be in a good cat cafe where they take good care of them so you don't get stressed. :D

Oh, dear! I get what you mean. I didn't think of that 😏

This one tho has a resting bitch face.

What an insane looking cat!

coffee was around 148 Baht

Jeez... Pricey. Whereas you can see cats for free in Buddhist temples and you can bring 40-baht coffee there from 7/11. 😃

I also was able to meet a lot of cats in the temples, they're usually sleeping and won't come to me hahah so can't pet them :<

I love coffees from 7/11!! I drank a lot of them and they were really good. Not sure you can bring those inside temples? Anyway temples right now have so much tourists. OMG when we went to Wat Arun it has tourists literally everywhere wearing some Thai costumes they rented from outside and just loitering in one place trying to get the perfect pic and shot for Tiktok. T_T

Anyway temples right now have so much tourists

A lot, and cats there don't want to contact people because are tired of people, and you often must pay annoying entrance fees.

You should visit a regular temple "next to your hotel" in search of cats - most Bangkok wats have felines including charming Siamese and Burmese breeds and mixes between them. No entrance fees in regular wats, and cats are more interested in humans there.

The cat cafe you visited has breeds you will never find in Thai temples or streets, so some Thai cat lovers would pay just to see and pet them.

Hahahaha it reminds me of this time where there was a shrine at a bar and there were food offering for the gods/spirits(?). Well you can guess who ate them, just the cats. XD I guess they are the gods. :D

There were a few we passed in Chinatown but not really close to our hotel. Yeah in Wat Pho I saw cats there and they were Siamese cats too. Even in the streets I saw one and I wondered if nobody steals them to sell them just cos of their cute color cos here in the Philippines that would definitely happen. I guess they're a common breed here. If those cats in the cat cafe were short-haired street cats I would still pay to be there. I try to pet every cat I meet in the streets but they just don't come to me most of the time ahhaha

:D true!

Excatly what happened. XD

Omg that toilet cat; how can i say no?

Hahah so cute when they go there.

t sounds like a really fun place to visit, and I love that the cats are so friendly and well-behaved. The photos you shared are also great, and they really capture the atmosphere of the cafe.

Thank you!:D

Wow that is really cool. They have a lot of variety, and the cast look cute. I haven't been inside a cat cafe, so thank you for your post.

Thanks for stopping by! :D

I guess if you have a bad day you can go there and just get some cat-energy to cheer you up😅

Ha jokes on you! Within the Wet market streets I get to hang out with all the stray cats that i want.

For free and unlimited stay.

😼

Most strays don't wanna come to me bruh. There was this one time outside 7/11 we feed a dog and randomly one kitty came out of nowhere looking at us. We bought him a kitty food but was too scared of us so he ran away and hid. I knew he was so hungry but can't do anything since he was too far hiding haha

I'm more of a dog person but these cats look really cute. I've been to Bangkok many years ago but I've only had one encounter with Siamese cats at the restroom in Wat Traimit. 😊 Thanks for sharing this in your blog.

awww I miss the cats so badddd..
