Noticing that people are posting the same thing on snaps, threads, waves. What are thoughts on this by users? Should you stick to one platform, or reach out to each of them? I like the aggregated view that @peakd offers, but seeing the same thing more than once is ... annoying.

I wondered what was happening. I'd go for individualised posts to each option.
So it isn't just me seeing it! I think people are trying to maximise their audience - and the same people don't frequent all the "platforms" - but, er... I do. :D
I was seeing the aggregated posts, hadn't clicked that was happening, was just thinking, "haven't I seen this?" 😂
Always ask why
I'm not very active on other platforms. I'm using Snaps bc @meno twisted my arm and suggestively whispered in my ear to download & test his app. Posting the same thing in several front-ends or micro-blogs would be reeking of spam to me, not my thing.
I'd avoid the duplication. I think it would be better to have a single stream and you can on peakd. I don't want to have check several. I find the content is often different on each.
My perspective - one thing on one thing.
Maybe I can have completely different personalities on each, post about completely different things, so that the people who do know me wonder - What sort of medication I'm on (or may have missed) when they see the aggregate view!
I haven't found it too annoying yet, since there seem to be only a handful of people that copy/paste their posts to several Hive microblogs.
It still beats all the spam that pops up when the Hive price climbs.
I cannot stand the "BTC moved 0.005%", here's how that will revolutionise type of posts.
But yeah, there's ... limitless potential for spam, and even more with the simplicity of LLMs. Lucky, a learned reader can identify it pretty quick - its the em dashes ;)
I've always left my peakd reader on Snaps. Aside from Threads, it's the most active. Now that we have mobile apps for it as well, I'm definitely sticking with the one.
