I too have been told those things about friends online, however i don't see the how it is any different than having a penpal. Its just quicker and can be far more personable.…

He is pretty awesome. A real life friend of mine and yes! mIRC brings back very fond memories for me. :) It was mostly anime chat rooms personally but still lol
