On my other phone, I was not banned off TikTok. This other phone is only connected to my laptop's hotspot which is connected by ethernet to my Comcast Internet. But this first phone was connected to Verizon directly. I was banned off TikTok in July. My account was logged into both phones. So, I could not even create new accounts on both phones. But I reset the second phone. I also made a new account on my laptop and then logged into it on that second WIFI to laptop hot spot only phone. But the first phone is connected to Verizon, I did not try to log into an account made by my laptop, and I did not reset my first phone. But if I did try to reset my first phone, I wonder how quickly TikTok might be able to see like my Verizon ID or some kind of clue. If my Verizon phone only connects to my laptop's hot spot, estimate how quickly TikTok might notice this. In other words, assume my Verizon phone is like my other phone in every way except that it has an Verizon eSIM. But assume I keep TikTok closed whenever I am directly connected to Verizon. It might be that the TikTok might be secretly partly always on once installed which would mean it would detect Verizon. When connected only to my laptop, it could be that TikTok might be able to somehow probe my Verizon eSIM. Tho, it should be illegal for TikTok to probe my eSIM if I tell it not to gather contacts. When you join TikTok, it will ask if it can have access to your contacts. So, that means connecting to the SIM. But even if I say don't connect to my contacts in my SIM, TikTok might still try to do it perhaps. I do not know if you can find out whether or not TikTok breaks the rules to probe the SIM or other things. That does not make sense. Both phones are Android phones. I was banned on both phones. I do not understand why TikTok would not ban me again on the one phone but keep me banned on the other phone. You need to realize that the only difference is one phone has an eSIM and the other phone does not. Outside of that, the two phones are identical. I keep push notifications off. I can disable auto-updates. Food log: Breakfast: orange, coffee, 12:18 PM. Lunch: soup on potatoes, 01:56 PM.
