Thought I'd stop by tonight and touch base with you epic Lions because apparently, there is some kind of bull run happening in crypto these days.
A few disclaimers lol
The only reason I even know $BTC is moving up is because I'm getting notices on my phone from my Crypto.com app. I have been missing in action around these parts and even if I get a minute or two to spare, I rarely keep up with the crypto news.
So yeah....Bull run apparently.
I have to be honest, whether I was on Threads 24-7 these days or as much as I am right now, I was never one that cared much about price of crypto. You know my speech by now...
"If you believe in a project, you accumulate no matter what the price is..."
And the project I still believe in and still stack as much as I can is....Right here on $LEO
I did end up lowering my delegation a bit to Leo Voter, but there is a method to my madness. I'm still buying around 100 $LEO a day, and making sure I get that 22% APR as well.
But my dedication to $HIVE has really taken a back seat to obviously my new career (as it takes the bulk of my attention) but also I'm o.k. with cashing some crypto out these days and as you guys know....
I own 0 Bitcoin LOLOL
So cashing out during this bull market is something I'm 100% o.k. with.
You know what I didn't do during the last cycle?
Take profits....
I had a Splinterlands account that was worth over $1 Million and was offered almost 6 figures for it at one time...And I didn't take action. I kept saying to myself, there's higher levels that we are going to reach. And I'm sure there will be on Hive, on Splinterlands and of course on Bitcoin...But folks, here's the truth of it (at least for me).
What good is this stuff if you can't enjoy things?
What good is stacks upon stacks if your family isn't taken care of because you didn't take profits?
What are we even doing here?
This blockchain has been amazing to me!!! I'm literally going to pay for the downpayment on a new home because of this place. The past 6 plus years of my life has been dedicated to this chain....So I'm not going anywhere :)
But I'm going to....Live a little!
Don't take this stuff too serious guys, enjoy your time. Throw massive value at this chain and it will reward you. However if we don't actually live life and sit around waiting for the new bull run after this one.....I dunno, that's just not for me anymore. It's almost like the markets and these bull runs become our idols....We always wait and hope for them, but as soon as they get here....We just stare in awe at them...
Take some profits. It's o.k.!

Just like that the cycle has changed and we are seeing the price of everything going up and it is also a fact that smart people will definitely profit from this.

Family is our greatest precious asset and we must always put their care first. You are very sure of that.

Hive for me is like my second home, it feels like that house you spend a while without going to, but you remember very well what it was like to spend your youth there and when you have the opportunity to visit and remember those beautiful memories you decide to return...
Well, here I am and doing everything I can to regain my space again and I know that with dedication and persistence I will achieve it. Thank God things with my family are fine now and so I won't have any major concerns that might involve any crypto here.

Never a bad thing to cash some out
It never hurts to take some profits. After all, we can't predict where the market will go. Getting some fixed gains is way better and you can be comfortable with whatever you have left.

I think most of us can relate on the not taking profits part. Totally agree with your way of thinking, and learned my lesson after the last bull run! 😉
Good reality check! Taking profits is part of the equation. I think many of us look forward to the bull run and when it comes, for one reason or another we don't end up taking the right action to transform the value we created into real world experiences.
I totally agree with all your points and we should not be too greedy by wanting the coin to pump a lot because it can go back to the dip and it may be worse
I think if this is the bull run it's going to be a really long one because we haven't even started yet. That's a great point about making yourself take gains. It's definitely not worth anything if we can't enjoy it!
A lot of things that actually reflect on bull run which should not be so and which should actually be worked upon
