As some of you might have know from my previous post that I'm currently undergoing the NYSC (National Youth Service Corp) program, and its been almost a year now, which is the stipulated duration for the program, and its about to come to an end.
'Allawee' is a slang used to describe the monthly allowance been paid to NYSC members (Corpers) by the federal government.
I got paid my allawee today which marks the last of it kind I'll ever be receiving in my lifetime 😆. Cause why not? One can only serve as a corper once in a lifetime. My NYSC program draws to an end in less than 2 weeks from today and I'll become an ex-corper soon. 🙂
On getting paid, I decided to give myself a little treat in order to appreciate myself for seeing this phase to its last. I went out to an eatery and got myself a little something. Ate a rexaled a little and then returned back home feeling happy.
