Phill from GCHQ - page 51 - Religious Lunatics

in #comics6 years ago

Finally!

After a lot of time I have finished page 51 of Phill from GCHQ. Phill and the cult of the evil Gods are again going on a camping trip, and we learn that Phill is not the only one that has been shaken by the Godly revelation. Hope you like it :)

Religious Lunatics - Page 51 of the cartoon about Phill from GCHQ - a free comic that I have been working on since September 2016.

I just discovered your work, through the french translation. It will take me a bit of time to catch up but you got a new fan ;-)

Cool, so glad Vincent makes it possible to read it in French too. Hope you enjoy it.

Man you really stepped up your game this was an excellent page, I love the backgrounds, and panel nr 3 looks like something out of a "Prince Valiant" comic if you remember... Well done! I also love the chick in the hoodie and the truck/jeep in the background.

I really took the time to make it a good page. I had a lot of illness in the summer and I used some month doing a commercial job, and I am still not really satisfied with the first pages I made after the break. I might redo them at some point. Thanks for the comment, it's very encouraging.

Keep on truckin bro!

Your style is very cool, it has a somewhat from antique greece sculptures, from Gotlib (do you know him?), from modern graphic novels but at the same time, older stuff like from french magazine "Fluide Glacial". The undetailled background with the photoshop gradient I am less fan. But this is rather professional quality I think. Respects and thanks for sharing ;)

I do know Gotlib - just read my Danish translated version not too long ago :)

This is my first try with a longer comic - I have used most of my life on painting and graphical art + a bit of installation and such - what you call fine art in English. But I got tired of the gradual commercialization and popularization of the art scene, so I have used the last 3-4 years on honest popular, commercial media like comics and illustration. I am not sure I have a style yet, but thanks for the kind words + constructive criticism :)

Somehow you had know him, hehe :)

Great to have another comic. It's worth the wait :)

Thanks, Steve.

When you find a comic page with a lot of words, and you actually read every one of those words and find you really interested, you know you are reading a great comic.

I am glad you fell like that. When making a webcomic where people has to wait a week or more for the next page I try to use a bit more text than I would normally prefer myself. It is mostly to make it last longer :)

Great page. I like like everything is hangs together. From your drawing style i like specialy the car in the last panel.

Thanks :) I am quite content myself.

Educative and funny cartoons.

Beautiful story of comic . Its very interesting and amazing.
