There was a prompt released in the Freewriters community, which asked us to write a story in 240 characters, using the word 'bad,' for our inspiration.

"It's not that bad," Razkat said trying to conceal a smirk.
"Not that bad!?" The captain shouted. "You not only crashed the transported, but you obliterated it! What will we do now?"
They were standard for sure. "We'll work it out, sir."
I wanted to have a bit of fun with this one but would have liked to spend more time in this to feel it out a bit. I love doing Zapfic's but tend to want to spend more time and let the story unfold a bit more.
However, part of the challenge is being able to let go of the story to fit it into the agreed length.
