Something wonderful just happened during the last weekend! I proposed to my girlfriend and she said “YES”!
Prior to this, there was an event that she wanted to attend badly which is JJ Lin’s Sanctuary World Tour Concert in Malaysia. She is a legit and hardcore fan of him for 15 years ago! After 5 years, JJ finally returns to Malaysia to do his concert and the ticket price was crazy as well. Setting aside my rationality on budgeting, I decided to buy two VVIP tickets for both of us. At the same time, I could use this unique moment for me to propose. This is also my first ever concert experience too!
During the concert day (last Friday), we went to the Axiata Arena earlier to help the fans club on distributing tickets. Well, I was not sure about the things around and so offering myself to be the photographer for the time being. When clock stroke 8pm, we moved into the arena. At first sight, we were quite disappointed with the location we had. Even though we get our tickets quite early, being the 18th person to get the ticket, we were allocated two seats at the 16th row. Frankly, we cannot see JJ Lin in a close distance but the overall view was good for me, which I could see all the performance going on the stage. As for my fiancée to be, she was disappointed with the arrangement as she expected to be sitting at the front 10 rows.
When JJ sang the song, Love U U which I think it was an appropriate timing to propose. I proposed to her. Unfortunately, the tight seating arrangement restricted me from kneeling down to her (I owe her one for that). She thought for a moment and said yes which then I had the proposal ring on her. It happened for a very short while and we continued to enjoy the concert until 11pm. The concert was fun for me. He can really uplift the beat of the audiences, but we could not stand and dance along as it will obstruct the view from behind. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the whole process.
