Il Valle di Chianti is a fantastic area. I visited it four years ago and fell in love with it. On top of the wineries, restaurants, fantastic little towns, it is home of L'Eroica, the famous vintage cycling race born in Gaiola in Chianti

The views there are awe-inspiringly spectacular! I can just smell the vineyards, olives, and freshly squeezed wine from my laptop... Or so I wish. As is the view, and people, the foods looks superbly delectable. It's been a while since I last had tiramisu, and that thing is just staring into my soul. Isn't Chianti also one of the stops for the Mille Miglia?

Haha, indeed it's a bit hard to keep track since the Mille Miglia stops in quite a lot of places along 1,000-miles! I think that's an important note, since the car is just as synonymous to Italy as wine, olives, cheese, and love-making 😆! In my mind, Italians are the most passionate car enthusiasts anywhere in the world.

I was just watching a video of someone reviewing a Ferrari Roma in Italy, and they summarised Italians' attitudes for cars really well... Italian cyclists want you to go faster as you drive by, while cyclists in other countries just want you to go to hell. 🤣

A wonderful walk, a toast to a happy return.
And my thanks to @santigs for a lovely video.
peace and happiness.

NOTE: Please forgive the not so personal reply that you normally get from me. Although I have enjoyed them, I, unfortunately, have a family funeral to attend on Friday and I have been preoccupied at the moment. Please understand that it was the unexpected death of my brother, who was young, and it was before COVID, but, he was waiting to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. COVID put his burial off, and now I get to relive it all over again. :/ He will be buried on Friday, with full military honors. There will be no #MarketFriday on Friday October 2. However, if you put one up, or it is scheduled, I will get to it as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding.

#MarketFriday loves you!

Was that you holding up the leaning tower??? :))
