“Eating Beans Every Day”
I am eating green beans and green peas every day because they are growing very well. My other vegetables are also doing ok but it's not harvesting time yet.
The green beans are very healthy but sometimes skunks or raccoons attack them at night.
I noticed that the beans look ok but actually they are the roots and put the beans back to the upright position. How did they put them back? The situation looks like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I can't help it but I had to eat them even though the beans are still small. I don't mind too much because I like beans anyway. I hope the night visitors excuse to visit my garden.
“毎日豆を食べる”
畑のサヤインゲンとえんどう豆がよく育っているので、毎日食べています。他の野菜も少しずつ育っていますが、まだ収穫時期までは時間がかかりそうです。
サヤインゲンはすごく元気なのですが、ときどき夜中にスカンクやたぬきに抜かれます。
朝見てみると、根っこだけを食べ、抜けてしまった豆と葉っぱが立てかけてあり、一見生えているように見えます。一体どうやって元に戻したのでしょう〜？まるでバッグズ・バニーの漫画みたいだなと思います。仕方がないのでまだ時期でない小さなものも食べるはめになります。豆は好きなのでいいのですが、夜中の訪問者は困ります。

早くとうもろこしとかぼちゃが大きくならないかなと思っています。
