Flame monkey is cool because it only needs 1 mana and it serves as a shield to cover more important cards (Serpentine Spy, Living Lava ....)

the nectar queen pairs well with earthquake and melee mayhem rulesets because of her high attack and flying ability makes her harder to hit

Nectar Queen pairs well with healers such as Wood Nymph, Khmer Princess, and Spirit of the Forest because the only weakness of Nectar Queen is its relatively low health.
