The site is located not far from the Rokko Mountains, a mountain range located southeast of Hyogo Prefecture.
The house was built according to the sunlight, the axis and inclination of the walls and the location of the openings were designed so as to provide maximum sunshine rooms. The house takes its name "hat house" from its pointed roof. The latter houses spacious rooms of different shapes and on various levels. Wood reigns supreme: framework, flooring, partitions, furniture ... and plants are also present everywhere. The layout of this house and its materials are not classic and that's what makes all its charm.

I admire these great works of architecture. At my place, we use cement blocks and concrete casting to build all type of houses. The only part you'll see woods are at roofing and doors/furnitures. Keep up the good work @mariemm
