Friends of HIVE, the day you are born is always a day of joy, rejoicing and a reason to celebrate, because it is a very special day in which God gave us life, a precious gift to enjoy every second that lasts.
Birthday parties are always full of family and friends, because they are the ones who make our days more beautiful. Some of the most beautiful birthday parties are the children's birthday parties, because the colorful balloons and the joy of the clowns make them much more fun.
Today I am here to tell you about the birthday party of my youngest niece, Roxanita, who recently celebrated her first birthday and, therefore, the most exciting of all.
Since days before we started with the preparations, as we wanted everything to go well. My sister had had a cake baked and had bought some refreshments for that day. We made two more panetelas, fritters, breads with dough, there were palitroques, cookies, chupachupas, malanga fritters, the puff pastries made by me, which I told you about in the last post, and some other things that I can't remember at the moment.
From the day before we put the decoration, it was something very simple, in fact it was a birthday without clowns or piñatas, because the economy here has gotten so bad that we did not get there, in fact, today here in Cuba a birthday with clowns and piñata is a privilege that not everyone can have, because as the saying goes "you have to cover yourself with the quilt as far as it reaches," but well if there were many colorful balloons that threatened the decoration.
Around 4 o'clock the children began to arrive, there were not many, since only the neighbors and two cousins were invited. The princess was beautiful with her three dresses: pink, white, which was my birthday present, and the other one, chick yellow, which contrasted with the pink decoration.
At first she was a little uncomfortable, because for these months of the year it is a little hot in this area, but little by little, and us playing the clowns ha, ha, ha, ha we managed to get that beautiful smile that characterizes her, we were able to take a few pictures and she even finished the day dancing to the rhythm of the songs. Later we sang happy birthday to her and handed out the long awaited little boxes for the children, everyone was bursting, they played, ran, jumped, danced, and everything was wonderful, because in a birthday, the most important thing is that the children have fun and have a good time.
On the other hand, little Roxana really enjoyed her party, because despite being very small, the extreme heat and not knowing anything about life, we managed to get her smiles, that smile that captivates everyone in the family, by the way, the big ones also had a lot of fun, because the joy of children is what makes us happiest.

In short, we were very satisfied and excited, because everything was better than expected, and especially for Roxi, who enjoyed like no other birthday before, ha, ha, ha, ha, always hoping that the joy, innocence, and enthusiasm that characterizes her never leave her. May she have many more years full of happiness and health and may we celebrate many more birthdays for her.
Amigos de HIVE, el día en que uno nace, siempre es un día de alegría, regocijo y motivo para celebrar, pues es un día muy especial en el cual Dios nos regaló la vida, regalo preciado para disfrutar de cada segundo que nos dure.
Las fiestas de cumpleaños siempre están llenas de familiares y amigos, pues son ellos quienes hacen más bonitos nuestros días. De las fiestas de cumpleaños más bonitas que existen son las fiestas de cumpleaños de los niños, pues el colorido de los globos y la alegría de los payasos, los hacen mucho más divertido.
En el día de hoy vengo a hablarles sobre la fiesta de cumple de mi sobrina más pequeña, Roxanita, quien cumplió recientemente su primer añito de vida y, por tanto, el más emocionante de todos.
Desde días antes comenzamos con los preparativos, pues queríamos que todo nos saliera bien. Mi hermana había mandado a hacer un cake y había comprado unos refrescos para ese día. Se hicieron dos panetelas más, buñuelos, panesitos con pasta, había palitroques, galleticas, chupachupas, friticas de malanga, las hojaldradas hechas por mí, de las que les hablé en el post pasado, y algunas otras cosas más que en este instante no recuerdo.
Desde el día antes pusimos la decoración, fue algo muy sencillos, de hecho era un cumple sin payasos ni piñatas, pues la economía por acá se ha puesto tan mala que no llegamos hasta allá, de hecho, hoy en día aquí en Cuba un cumple con payasos y piñata es un privilegio que no todos pueden tener, pues como dice refrán" hay que taparse con la colcha hasta donde alcance," pero bueno si había muchos globos de colores que amenazaban la decoración.
Alrededor de las 4 comenzaron a llegar los niños, no había muchos, pues se invitaron solo los vecinitos y dos primos. La princesa no se diga, estaba hermosa con sus tres vestidos rosa, blanco que fue mi regalo de cumpleaños y el otro amarillo pollito que hacía contraste con la decoración que era color rosa.
Al principio estaba un poco incómoda, pues por estos meses del año hace un poco de calor por esta zona, pero poco a poco, y nosotros haciendo de payasos ja, ja, ja logramos sacarle esa hermosa sonrisa que la caracteriza, pudimos tirarle unas cuantas fotos y hasta termino la jornada bailando al ritmo de las canciones. Más tarde le cantamos cumpleaños feliz y repartimos las tan esperadas cajitas para los niños, todos quedaron a reventar, jugaron, corrieron, saltaron, bailaron, y todo quedó de maravilla, pues en un cumpleaños, lo más importante es que los niños se diviertan y la pasen bien.
Por otra parte, la pequeña Roxana disfruto mucho de su fiesta, pues a pesar de ser muy pequeña, el calor extremo y no saber nada de la vida, logramos sacarle sus sonrisas, esa sonrisa que cautiva a todos en la familia, por cierto, los grandes también nos divertimos mucho, pues la alegría de los niños es lo que más nos hace felices.

En fin quedamos muy satisfechos y emocionados, pues todo quedó mejor de lo esperado, y sobre todo por la Roxi, que disfruto como ningún otro cumpleaños anterior, ja, ja, ja, esperando siempre que la alegría, la inocencia, y el entusiasmo que la caracteriza no la abandonen nunca. Que pueda cumplir muchos años más llenos de felicidad y salud y que le podamos celebrar muchísimos cumpleaños más.

Me parece haber estado en esa fiesta. Cuando describes todo al detalle ayudas a que otras personas en igual situación puedan tenerla como referencia. The birthdays of the little ones are always a source of happiness. I don't celebrate my birthday anymore hahaha, but we do still make a little celebration for my son (who is not small anymore). We can't be together for Christmas, Easter or other holidays but at least once a year, we celebrate together with our families something, one birthday ;)

Así es , los niños son muy inocentes para enseñarles la cruda realidad , ya llegará el momento en que tengan que saberlo , pero mientras tanto que disfruten de su niñez , ojalá puedieramos volver todos a esa edad .
