Most of you know that I love roses, and that we grow them in our front garden.
It was a tough year, but the roses bloomed quite well.
More or less solid. We are relatively happy with the rose.
But today is October 20th and my roses have bloomed.
They are not autumn roses.
I have autumn roses that are just starting to bloom.
They are smaller, and the flower is different.

But these red roses have pleasantly surprised us.
If I've been following correctly, this is their third flowering this year.
I think these weather fluctuations have a big impact on plants.Last night it was two degrees and there was a little frost and the day after tomorrow they are reporting over 22 degrees with a nighttime temperature of around 11 degrees.
I have to take care of the frost. Although this morning's frost doesn't seem serious for the rose.
I'll definitely see the consequences in a couple of days.

Some of the fruit trees in the orchard have started to bloom, so I picked the flowers.Since the fruit should slowly enter the dormant phase.
The nice weather and sunshine have not only encouraged plants but also insects.
So with some effort I managed to photograph a ladybug.A ladybug was sunbathing on a rose, the days are getting shorter and there are fewer sunny intervals.

Hot peppers, not as successful as last year.
Last year they produced well and we put them in jars.
Luckily I have a jar left for this year too.
But they are turning yellow more and more and are ready to "get angry"
I think I'll try a new type of hot pepper next year.
Although I don't like it too hot.
If you have any suggestions for hot peppers.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.

I was watching a reel the other day by a guy I think was SErbian?? He said he was experimenting with bringing peppers in for the winter. I will try to find him again and send you the link.
I can't wait for the link:)
Its amazing how your roses continue to bloom despite the changing weather. The contrast between and frost and sunshine really shows how resilient plants can be.
Yes, it is
