I made this video because I couldn't find anything online to help me with the Canon 70D settings using a Sigma 30 mm lens and Sigma 20 mm lens for astrophotography.
I thought that I uploaded it a few weeks ago but must have forgotten in my excitement of plunging into astrophotography.

My photos are getting better daily or should I say nightly as I practice just about every night when there is less cloud cover. This is one of the photos I took last night of the Plough. (1 of 78!) I added the joined up lines using Paint.

@molometer you are getting better everyday.Your experimenting with the lens and capturing photos at night ,it is really appreciable.keep it up and share lot more photos.

Thank you Rohit, it's a lot of fun and I'm learning more every night. I got some nice images last night which I'll post later today.

Good video @molometer
The star trail picture is very pretty :-)

Thank you Kevin, I tried to get a better star trail last night but I messed up somehow? I'll try again tonight. :)

Sometimes astrophotography can be very frustrating, so never lose your motivation. :-)
Hopefully, the weather here will me also allow to take some shots.

You call that “The Plough?” Here, we call those seven stars in Ursa Major “The Big Dipper.” Cool shot whatever it’s called.
