Some things just look great in black and white or shades thereof.
These two photos show just how different a scene can be with a touch of colour.
Monochrome works well with good cloud cover. Moody and menacing.
From another angle and with colour the whole scene changes. Warm and inviting.
This yellow and pleasant land of England. Pretty soon the steam festival will be back and we will get to see some of these funny little machines that used to work these fields not so long ago.
How you look at things determines your interpretation and can influence your perspective.

I think I actually prefer the black and white one @molometer which is a bit surprising as I love colour normally! 😊
It totally changes the way we respond to the image. I agree but a little bit of colour lifts the soul. :)
Both photo's are beautiful but what a difference color can make. I'm a sucker for B&W too though.
