I went out to catch the sunset yesterday, and was a little disappointed when the clouds came rolling in and completely covered the sky before the sun went down. I was about to head back home when a gap opened up and I was presented with this amazing view!
I love it when that happens because you can get that "God rays" effect that you have in games like Fallout - it gives really dramatic lighting for any shot. It is risky though because you can easily end up with a wet camera if it starts raining.
Great shot, it really does look like flames! The sky is so dynamic, never forget to look up!
