I hope everybody has eaten and drank enough as it almost time for that post holiday regret. Being in retail my holiday lasted a full three days but it was still great to get home and relax for a while.
It's good to get a break from everything and just switch off at times and that includes from STEEM. Anything that you are doing day in day out will eventually become a chore if you don't get a break from time to time. I love STEEM and still logged into @splinterlands to hit my daily quests but that was a bout the extent of my interactions over the past week.
This was a break where a lot of golf was played. (The weather was so calm and warm for Xmas.) Plenty of food was eaten and even a few drinks were taken. For me, Xmas is about friends and family rather than the materialism that has grown in the past few years. This one was special as it was the first one for my nephew who was born in June. It's a different house with a baby in it and while it didn't have some of our normal activities it was a better place for having Tadgh with us this year. As a person who has never had to deal with babies it really was an interesting time as he kept getting thrown into my arms every time i tried to sit down but I'm fairly sure i am his favorite now and didn't even drop him once. #winning
I know the year is almost at an end and it's that time where people refocus and plan for the next one so this is just a post to get me back into the habits that I had built up over the past year and get me back into STEEM mode for 2020. It's always tough to get back at it when you take a break but I'm oping to see a lot more people get back into the STEEM mood during the next year as we finally see SMT's and Communities being rolled out. Hopefully a lot more development and that easy sign up that has been long over due.
There will be time soon for a proper recap and plans for next year but until then just enjoy the last few days of the holidays and looking forward to the new year.
