Hello beautiful people. There's no doubt that knowledge supercedes ignorance and a person who reads is usually more informed and likely to solve more complex problems within a limited time frame.
Reading itself is an exercise that sharpens your creative mind, whilst broadening your horizon and keep you ahead of others. There's a popular saying that "Knowledge is power". This power is fantastic, it is very important because power is needed in the corridors of everything, you must be sure that the power you weild is at the level of the information you have in your store, the more you know, the more power you have.
No doubt, an ignorant man is always at the mercy of those who know the things he doesn't know, this is simply because he will always get misguided when he tries to demonstrate his ignorance either privately or publicly, there is nothing he does that he will have an upper hand against those who know better than him.
Knowledge is necessary that's why God caution us to study to show ourselves approved, so that we may not be ashame to approach complex issues and bring forth solutions to our immediate society (2Tim3:15).
Information is key and ignorance is a disease. And you can be ignorant without knowing bcus you've not read in a book.
You don't know about a business, skill that would bring forth your breakthru because you have not read to be inform but it's unfortunate that people perish not because the system failed but bcus they lack knowledge, (Hosea 4:6).
Make conscious effort to read and be inform, productive, and valued, only that your relevance is limited.
REMEMBER THIS
- Reading stretches your mind and imagination and opens you to ideas you never thought existed.
- There are worst crimes than burning books and not reading is one of them.
- One who can read but doesn't read is worse than an illiterate.
