RE: Steem - The distributed network behind the pretty website

I'd to see diagrams of the web3 part which is probably not centralized (subject to DDOS attacks many times) and what is and isn't stored in the blockchain (eg files, etc)

Interesting post. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. The biggest group of uneducated investors in mankind has to define the trustworthyness and…

Warning! mining STEEM is not possible anymore. Save your time. Can I mine STEEM? No. Proof of work mining has been removed from Steem.

RE: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi too? A Simple Explanation about Where Does Money Come From for Dummies

@orly has it nailed, I think. Steem can only have value if people buy it. It cannot have value from being handed out for posting, curating, mining, etc. In the long run (other…

Steem has a business model. Just like Bitcoin.

This is a strange thing and I'm not sure I like it. It indicates there's a problem with voting and payout distribution. I wonder how this will be countered (if it would even be possible).

No, anarcho communism cannot be applied, except for one big communist government owning and controlling everything. If you "bought an island" or some other land, you agree that…
