Sadly, progress has been very slow. Doing my best under the circumstances! ☺
Projects I attempted recently, but are stuck in first gear:
• Pencil sketch
• Two separate animated gifs
• Speed art
• Infographic about trader's lingo
What will it take to get on track?
Time, patience, determination, etc. And trying never to complain, too ☺ Except I'll complain about those idiot spammers forever!

Sorry man, WIP means work in progress :( At least I started it ... just a rocky week I'm having is all.
Hopefully will have a funny animated gif tomorrow.

The real world stuff was dreadful today... I put 12 hours into a project, then the client says, "oh by the way, we like these websites, so make ours like these"... I think dealing with spammers is looking better and better!

yes, I read somebody was saying they do not speak good english but trying to communicate and get votes. That was kind of insulting because including me, we still put lots of effort and take time to make each post with english!

Well I try to make a good explanation. I'm not flawless, as I'm tired of the deceptive tactics and sometimes I say things like:

Do spammers ever say that "Steemit sucks?" that would be hilarious, because it's their perceived cash cow... Usually it's wide-eyed admiration... Almost like I need to a paper towel and windex to wash their slobber from the blockchain ☺ ☺ ☺

I have thought about it though, when you consider it, there really is no need to spam steemit since one can simply post "spammy" articles and get paid for them
But then I dont think they have that figured out.

Someone being angry at poor people in developing countries who weren't taught English at their underfunded schools, but still try night and day to post and catch upvotes because sbd prices make it so that they can earn a living if they get even one accidental upvote every other day.
No silly, it's not the poverty, it's not the lack of English, I have friends on here who may not speak well and may have a background of penury. But they're trying instead of cheating.
It's about a dishonest tactic of stealing content, repeating the same useless trash incessantly, posing as other people (stealing profile pictures), lying about their locations and leasing SP to self upvote their own trash and game the system.
Their scummy tactics are turning away valuable contributors because they see all the trash on this site and don't want to be a part of the **** show.
And another thing... I've flagged American spammers with perfect English.
The guy posted a link to his blog in the comment section. That's lame no matter who you are, where you are from or your background. You don't know what you're talking about!
Are you saying that certain groups of people should be held to lower standards?
I'm saying that you're blaming the people with the least amount of power to change the most profitable strategies on steemit. Money circulation is dictated by whales and dolphins, vote power is in their hands, and when they blind vote their threads they encourage this kind of behavior by not bothering to read what they're voting, they just vote to generate interest in their articles and get votes on them.
I would like to end this conversation on as amicable a condition as possible.
It's just getting nowhere.
I'll go back to producing worthwhile content and giving back to the community and you can defend behaviors that erode the community and dissuade investors.
