This whole situation could have been avoided with the use of incredibly effective and widely available non-lethal police weapons Pepperball Guns, Tazers, etc. This is the exact situation where these would have dropped the assailant nonlethally and she could go to trial. If we're going to spend so much money on the police, we might as well spend it on the non-lethal options they could easily be using. Cops shouldn't judge, jury, and executioner.
My friend into martial arts would agree, I am not trained and don't like to train at all, but for people who are a police it would be expected for them to maintain the fitness unlike me.
