I never thought I could explore a less traveled route in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. Perhaps it always feels so good to unearth a hidden gem so timely.
When I was younger, whenever I heard the word, Laguindingan, I always remembered the airport. But now, what excites me about the place is its serene seaside. That seemed a perfect place to unwind and relax.
And that the place has so many picturesque views. With its alluring sea, Laguindingan has always been one of my favorite destinations, but little did I know that there was a less-traveled path awaiting me that led to an extraordinary discovery.
One fine weekend, I was eager to have a simple joyride to chill for a moment. Along with me was my adventurous cousin. As we witnessed the scenic beauty along the way, my cousin suggested exploring a hidden gem known only to a few and that only a few people discovered it.
When my cousin came across a post by an online influencer, she was intrigued by it. When we tried to find the route, we were even confused about where to go, but we followed our instinct. Good thing we have finally located the place. And I was surprised when I got there because the place was so breathtaking.
And what amazed me was the lush greenery, the big rocks, and the calm sea, which was worth exploring and discovering. Indeed the rare view of the rocks encircling the sea created a natural spectacle that seemed so enchanting.
The calm sea, the surrounding verdant trees, and the big rocks touched my heart for a while. Perhaps I was very excited about capturing the moment, and I got many shots at the old stones. It made my day, and I went home with a happy heart.
