Today being the 25th of February 2023 is the of election in Nigeria and it's the day we have all been waiting for most especially me because I have never voted before So I was anxious to see how it usually happens. On weaking up that faithful morning after doing my house choice I decided to prepare egg roll that I will sell in the election venue because I no there will be lots of crowd there and no shop will be open either so it will be an opportunity for me to make little money.
After preparing all my egg roll with the little egg I bought from the market the previous day I noticed it won't be enough for me to sell so I went out to buy more eggs but I couldn't see much,I was only able to get ten(10) so I bought it like that and used it to add to the ones I made earlier,after which I took my bath, ate my breakfast before going to my polling unit because it's getting late.
I called my boyfriend to come pick me up with his bike because to see a pubic transport will be difficult and it will take more of my time too so when he finally arrived he took me and my sister's daughter to my polling unit before going to his because it's just a mile away from mine. The crowd in my polling unit is not that much so I joined the line to get my accreditation done before finally casting my vote.
There was no violence in my polling unit but there was a little argument at a time because an elderly woman came to vote so she was asking the INCE official standing at the voting point to direct her and aslo show her where the party she wants to vote for is located on the ballot paper but a particular part agent was telling her to vote for his party and when the crowd heard what he said it resulted to argument but it was quickly resolved and everything went to to normal.
As soon as I finished voting I went to meet my sister daughter where she was sitting and I was shocked to see that she has already finished selling all the egg rolls so we both went to check on my boyfriend in his polling unit and on getting there every was peaceful and some people were still casting their votes so we sat down till everyone finished voting and the vote was counted before I went.
Later in the evening my boyfriend and I went out to have a drink and see how the process of the results collection is going so went to @stopandchoprestaurant to cool off our stress because am really stressed out and feeling headache as well so I just ordered for Tigger nut drink because I don't drink alcohol so after relaxing for a while we both decided to go home because it's getting late already.
I must say I really enjoyed the experience of voting because everything was peaceful on like the ones I use to see in the news so having my own experience was really amazing and I thank God for the success.
