Hi, hivers! I am very excited to finally introduce you to my great friend Mariangela (@morethanbooks) who recently joined the platform.

Since I entered the platform I have been talking about her to Mariangela, telling her about every success and failure. I invited her to join Hive many times, excited to share this with her, but only now was she able to consolidate. Anyway, I am very happy that she is here.
Mariangela y yo nos conocimos en el trabajo y (esto sonará muy cursi) desde el primer día ya sabía que quería ser su amiga por la buena vibra que me daba y porque me gustaba el esfuerzo y seriedad con la que hacía su trabajo para que las cosas salieran bien, algo que valoro mucho en las personas. Desde entonces hemos sido muy cercanas y me alegro mucho de contar con su amistad y poder ofrecerle la mía.
Mariangela and I met at work and (this will sound very corny) from the first day I knew I wanted to be her friend because of the good vibe she gave me and because I liked the effort and seriousness with which she did her work so that things would turn out well, something I value very much in people. Since then we have been very close and I am very happy to count on her friendship and to be able to offer her mine.

El proceso previo a su entrada en Hive, donde uno comienza a instruirse viendo vídeos, leyendo reseñas, visitando blogs, etc., fue bastante grato para mí como acompañante ya que pude revivir mis inicios, lo que me dio un poquito de nostalgia (y no se los voy a negar, también orgullo) al darme cuenta de todas las cosas que ahora sé y que uno ni se percata de que lo sabe porque ya se vuelve automático.
The process prior to entering Hive, where one begins to educate oneself by watching videos, reading reviews, visiting blogs, etc., was quite pleasant for me as a companion since I was able to relive my beginnings, which gave me a little bit of nostalgia (and I won't deny it, also pride) when I realized all the things I know now and that one doesn't even realize that one knows because it already becomes automatic.
Fue también muy genial poder servir de ejemplo para ella sobre las cosas que me funcionaron y las que no, en especial porque no llevo tanto tiempo en Hive así que tengo muchas cosas fresquitas en mi cabeza. Claramente lo que pude enseñarle fue muy básico y desde lo que yo he experimentado, por lo que nos queda mucho que aprender a ambas.
It was also great to be able to serve as an example for her about the things that worked for me and the things that didn't, especially because I haven't been in Hive that long so I have a lot of fresh things on my mind. Clearly what I was able to teach her was very basic and from what I have experienced, so there is a lot for both of us to learn.
Estoy segura de que a Mari le irá genial porque es una persona responsable, disciplinada, que trabaja para alcanzar sus metas y para hacerlo exitosamente. Me alegra mucho ya poder compartir esto con ella y que no sea yo la única que habla de Hive jajaja.
I am sure Mari will do great because she is a responsible, disciplined person who works to achieve her goals and to do so successfully. I am so glad I can share this with her now and that I am not the only one talking about Hive hahaha.
En fin, les quería comentar lo mucho que me gustó poder ayudarla y cuánto me sirvió este momento reflexivo sobre mi evolución en la plataforma. Siento mucha gratitud con todo este periodo y qué mejor manera de agradecer que aportar un granito de arena para que esta red crezca, atrayendo a personas que aporten contenido de calidad.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you how much I liked being able to help her and how much this reflective moment about my evolution here was useful to me.
