Self-care during bad days!

in BDCommunity5 years ago

Sometimes bad days come in our life all of a sudden, without any warning. But it's okay, no? I believe sometimes we actually need bad days to realize and have a tour to see how life is going.

That's why I'm trying to focus more on self-care!

So...I'm having bad days for a few days. I shared it before, my laptop got issues and I had to send it for servicing. It's not like that I don't have my data backed. But setting up everything in a new device is taking the time. And the enormous mental pressure is getting on my nerves.

Being a mom, it's hard to get time for self-care; especially if I talk about spending time alone. You can understand taking a break for even half an hour is very tough for me. And to be honest I don't actually get that also.

So, what to do?

Well, I do give myself quality time, some treats, spending time on what I love to do, doing meditation helps me a lot.

I try to center my focus first. It helps a lot to ignore all the negativity, bad moments around. A calm & centered mind can lead us to happiness, that's what I believe. Taking a long bath, having my favorite coffee, spending time on my balcony garden, quality time with my son, connecting with my friends and family; everything adds great value during bad days.

If you are also struggling to find out how to spend quality time with thyself and include self-care in your busy schedule you can think about this. And, I practice mindfulness in my everyday life so I will always recommend that. Just adding some simple things can make us happy, improve our bond with the inner self, and leads us towards more happiness.

Much Love

Dear Madam, you wrote something about a very beautiful reality. My heart was filled and I was scared in my mind. Anyway, your writings were very beautiful. Every writing is related to our reality. Thank you for seeing the reality inshallah.

Thanks for your appreciation 😊

Recently, I focus on self-care, there was time when I used to ignore to take care of my health, whenever I felt bad, I haven't eaten properly, in fact, I was like out of the world. Later I understood that it really feels good to take care of ourselves while having a bad time. I just do skincare, eat healthy + junk food and just like to be myself when I feel bad...

Don't feel guilty. I was just like you a few years ago, motherhood changed me. I wish I could give myself more time.
It's great that now you understand, so don't ignore it. You will feel charming, fresher and happy doing this.
Have a great day 😊

Even if you get a lot of time, self-care might not be intentional for a lot of people or they might not be familiar with the idea. We need alone time, something people in our part of the world do not want to accept, neither do they understand.

Thanks for writing this.

It's so true. Many people ignore this though they have enough time. It's a way of improving our whole life.
Thanks for adding. Have a great day 😊

A lot of single people don't even do self-care not to talk of you with a child.. So I do understand you when you say you don't get enough time for yourself but please do find sometime for yourself, maybe when your baby is taking a nap. Meditation is cool too.

Ah.. I wish I could get more personal time. Unfortunately his napping time is my only option when I can work peacefully. So I usually find other ways.
Thanks for your suggestions. Have a nice day 😊

Well good thing you found other ways because I would have suggested you wait till he grows up. 😂😂

Self Care is the best medicine to improve inner side bonding!

So true.
I hope you also practice this in daily life.
Thanks 😊
