Hello, anime fans! A new year brings new energy. But have you ever watched an anime and suddenly felt like, "Wow, this hits so close to home!" Anime has this unique way of touching our hearts. As the year begins, I’ve taken some time to reflect on my life over the past year. Surprisingly, some of the anime I’ve watched have taught me some meaningful life lessons. Let’s talk about a few anime that aren’t just fun but also packed with valuable insights. Ready? Let’s dive in!
One Punch Man: Confidence is Key
Let’s start with Saitama. The bald superhero with incredible strength may seem unbeatable, but what’s truly inspiring is how chill he remains even when others underestimate him. The big takeaway here is: not everyone will understand what you’re doing, and that’s okay. If you believe in yourself and your path, keep going.
Think about how many people doubted Saitama when he said he got strong by doing push-ups and sit-ups every day. Most people laughed, right? But he stuck to it. This reminds me of a few years back when people doubted my journey, especially during my early days on Hive. Some even mocked my efforts. But looking back at my achievements now, I’m grateful I ignored the doubters and stayed true to my goals.
Attack on Titan: Seeing Different Perspectives
Who doesn’t know this anime? From the beginning, we’re made to hate the Titans, only to later discover that the conflict is far more complicated. It teaches us the importance of seeing issues from multiple perspectives.
Remember Marco’s words before his untimely death? "At least, we should talk about it!" That’s such a profound message. Communication is key. How many conflicts could be resolved if everyone involved just sat down and talked honestly?
Eren Yeager also teaches us another important lesson: strive with all your might. Sure, there are no Titans in the real world, but the battles we face to achieve our goals are just as challenging. This year, I’m committing to putting in more effort and opening myself up to communicating with others to achieve my dreams faster.
Naruto: Deidara’s “Creative Destruction” Philosophy
Naruto has been with me since childhood, and its story still holds a special place in my heart. This time, though, I want to talk about Deidara, the explosive artist. He believed that destruction is the start of creation.
This ties into Joseph Schumpeter’s theory of Creative Destruction and Pablo Picasso’s philosophy: "Every act of creation is first an act of destruction." Sometimes, we need to let go of the old to make way for the new.
Last year, I realized there were habits holding me back from my goals. So, I decided to let go of those bad habits and start fresh. Life is about moving forward, isn’t it?
Conclusion: Anime as a Life Teacher
Anime isn’t just entertainment. Sometimes, its stories can provide deep life lessons. From Saitama, we learn about self-confidence. Attack on Titan reminds us of the value of understanding multiple perspectives. Naruto and Deidara teach us to be brave enough to let go of the old to create something new.
Now it’s your turn. What anime has taught you valuable life lessons? I’d love to hear your stories and experiences. Who knows, what you share might inspire someone else. 😊

Thank you for reading this far into my article. Hopefully, there is something you can get from what I have shared.
I have learned and improved as a person thanks to anime, I have overcome many things because I always connect with a character that inspires me and allows me to believe in myself again. Thanks for sharing your point of view!
It's amazing how anime can resonate so deeply and inspire self-growth. Connecting with characters who reflect our struggles or aspirations can truly be empowering. Thank you for sharing your experience—it's a beautiful reminder of how impactful storytelling can be!
Sending Love and Ecency Curation Vote!
Follow Eceny's curation trail to earn better APR on your own HP. : )
I do not understand how this mediocre post could get 78(!) votes in mere 3 hours, including vote from Ecency. This looks anomalous, like favouritism or voting cartel, because such voting activity is improbable even if majority of followers are active at the same time.
In the meantime, other (older) posts in that community barely received any attention... What's going on here?
Hi onlyjob, thank you for your comment! It seems you have a great curiosity, and that’s fantastic! It might be helpful for you to explore some key concepts like Hive SBI, Hive Power (HP), HP Delegation, and curation trails. I noticed that you’ve also received HP delegation from Ecency, which is a great start to understanding all of this better. Here’s a helpful resource: https://www.hivesbi.com/.
Regarding the support you mentioned:. Most of it doesn’t come directly from this community but from a curation trail of an account I’ve delegated HP to. The process is straightforward: if that account finds a post from someone who delegated HP to it deserving of support, it casts a vote. Often, other accounts in the curation trail follow suit. So, even if you find my post " mediocre," it’s the curation trail mechanism that results in the coordinated votes.
You can also enjoy similar benefits by delegating your HP. To do this, you’ll need Hive Power through staking or Power Up. A great time to start is during Hive Power Up Day on the 1st of every month.
By the way, this is my first time posting in this community after nearly a year of reading and learning. I felt it was important to contribute to the communities I’ve joined. There’s nothing wrong with this community—perhaps the admin has specific criteria for supporting posts, which may explain why some older posts haven’t gained attention yet.
If you need guidance about Hive, I’d be happy to help! There are plenty of beginner-friendly communities that offer support and even SBI rewards to help you grow.
Thank you for detailed explanation, although praising my curiosity was unnecessary. I do appreciate the insights you've provided.
While I don't fully understand all technical details yet, you have confirmed my worst suspicion that there are bot-assisted upvote cartels with hundreds times greater power than organic community.
It is worse than mutual sympathy (echo chamber), shared common interests, or gentleman's agreement to
likeupvote each other's posts, because automated upvoting is a monopolistic approach that disrupt otherwise useful reputation indicators. (Can you distinguish likes automatically given to you by cartel from genuine likes from your followers?) IMHO, it have nothing to do with promotion of good content, and have everything to do with accumulating and consolidating power.Ethics of participation in such cartels is dubious.
I understand that it is just how things work on Hive, but that is disappointing nevertheless, even if forming a "good gang" was the only way to prevent similar consolidation of power by "bad gang".
Anyway, I shall have to think more about this matter... Thanks again for your information.

Yep! Anime is indeed not only a means of entertainment, but it sometimes can unconsciously teach us valuable life lessons. It's nice that you're able to generate insights from the ones that you've watched, and as for this year, I think the main takeaway I learned from the anime series is mostly about 'trusting the process'. The MCs of the anime that I've watched mostly trusted the process of their improvement; of 'course, their journeys are not easygoing—some even started roughly, but they trusted the process, and at the end they achieved what they wanted. Same goes in real life; sometimes you gotta go out of your comfort zone and trust the process because you'll eventually experience stuff that will make you a better person. Shimatta, I think I overshared lol... Btw, thanks for sharing, and see you around!
I couldn't agree more—anime has this unique way of embedding life lessons amidst the drama and action. 'Trusting the process' is such a powerful takeaway, and it’s inspiring to see how you’ve connected it to real-life growth. Honestly, your 'oversharing' was just the right amount—it gave me even more to think about.
It's definitely wonderful to know that anime affected not only the way we feel the moment we watch it but also the way we see things in our everyday life.
Btw, thanks for the nice reply, and I'm glad mine gave you even more to ponder on.
Maravillosas reflexiones desde la visión de los animes. Varios historia me han tocado, sobre todo me han llevado a reflexionar sobre mi misma, como las de Studio Ghibli, son una curita al corazón. Saludos y feliz año.
Wonderful reflections from the vision of anime. Several stories have touched me, especially have led me to reflect on myself, like those of Studio Ghibli, are a band-aid to the heart. Greetings and happy new year
Studio Ghibli indeed creates magic that feels like a comforting embrace. Their stories are timeless and have a way of healing the heart while inspiring deep introspection. Wishing you a wonderful and fulfilling new year as well—may it be filled with more stories that uplift and inspire!
Totally agree that anime goes beyond entertainment and can teach us valuable lessons. Saitama really is a great example of confidence. Personally, “Fullmetal Alchemist” has been key in my life, especially in themes of sacrifice and redemption. Great post!
Thank you so much for your appreciation! I agree, Saitama is a simple yet powerful symbol of confidence. I'm glad to hear that this anime has made such a significant impact on your life. Thank you for sharing, and may we continue to find inspiration from amazing stories!
