How soon we forget history. While watching the Lord Of The Rings Fellowship Of The Ring, I found the opening scene to be prophetic.
"Much that once was is lost, for none now live that remember it." Another way of saying those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Think cancel culture, othering, corporate fascism, etc. How did we get here so fast?
"The hearts of men are easily corrupted." We are currently here, or at least in the US. Our system is so thoroughly corrupted by politicians selling us out to make a dollar that it is having a major negative impact on life. Weak men/women bring hard times.
