Everyday we live, we must have reasons to express gratitude. Most times, people succeed, not because of their level of preparedness but by grace which cannot be explained by any known law of nature.
I watched a particular car race sometimes ago. During the course of the race and just before the finishing line, a particular driver (very fast and rugged) was leading the race, but something happened a few meters to the finishing line. The second car hit the first one from behind and the two of them crashed into a few other cars that were coming behind. This was how the car that was far behind went on to win the race.
This is to prove to you that whatever good that comes your way, do not see it that you have worked extremely hard for it or you were qualified for it; just see it as a privilege and grace.
To be honest with you; what you have not asked for but you have received is far bigger and greater than what you think you have asked for but did not receive. Okay if you can think well, have you ever asked for the air you breath? But you have been drawing in air since you were born.
Succeeding, most times, is not dependent on your strength, also winning a race is not always dependent on your quickness.There are times you succeed inexplicably. Believe me, if you recount your blessings, you will be eternally grateful for where you are now.
You may not have actually gotten to a place you dreamed to be, but if you will be very honest with your conscience, you will know that you have long left that lowly place that you used to be. Everyday you live, you must see something to count as a blessing.
