You may ask "how many times will someone fall to make him a failure?" Well, the simple answer is, as long as the person gets back up, then he is very far from being a failure. You only become a failure if you have chosen to remain where you fell.
If some of the people that are celebrated today as successful people tell you how many times they tried, failed, and tried again, the you will understand that failure does not mean "final".
A very respected mentor and great tutor of the ancient Chinese, Confucius, made a statement that has remain till this day as one of the best motivational speeches and has remained a reference point today. He said:
Our glory (talking about China) does not lie in not falling but it lies in rising up each time we fall - Confucius (paraphrased by me)
If you observe this statement closely, you will understand one thing: That someone failed in an attempt does not mean that the person cannot rise again. More so, failure is still part of the success story of many successful people today.
I never get tired of citing the man Colonel Harland Sanders as a reference. Many people may know him as the owner and founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) but not too many people know about his numerous failed attempts.
At a point, Colonel Harland Sanders became an embodiment of failure, literally. He failed at jobs, failed in the military, failed at the rail road, failed in marriage, etc. However, he pressed on and that was how KFC was birthed and now he is celebrated. This is to show you that if you refuse to quit, very soon, your shining will arrive.
