We humans are a peculiar lot. No two humans are alike. We expect ourselves to be the best and follow charismatic people and celebrities and the like but never realize that we have our own personalities which are to be developed upon by ourselves.
Are we perfectionists?
To an extent, we all are. Nothing is perfect enough for the perfectionists and although most of us are not the fanatical types, we do expect a level of perfection not only from ourselves but from others also.
Are we stingy?
Not all are. Many people I know will go out of their way to help others but there are a few specimens who do not dish out a dime even in the instance of sharing a restaurant bill. Such people will shamelessly depend on others. Those are the types who butter up the influential to get benefits or perks and drop them in the instant the power or the money disappears.
Are we power hungry?
That is a tricky one. Almost all people want to feel important. So, it is but natural to want a position where one can show off his/her abilities and attitudes. If the leaders are good by nature, it is good but what if the person turns out to be selfish and evil? Such people should be avoided at all costs.
Are we foolish?
Oh yes, some people definitely are. I have a relative who keeps starting some business initiative or other, loses the money and then ends up asking us all for means to absolve himself. If and when we refuse, then it is fury let loose. Such people may be rare but they certainly can cause much harm to the family and friends circle and certainly be a burden, mostly themselves.
