John Candy, 1969. 18 Years old.

@shabbirahmadpolash.PNGYou've clearly never been to Niagara Falls. From the Canadian side you see the Canadian side, for the most part. Nobody looks at the American side. Not even Americans, if they can help it. The American side is sad and small disappointing.
Is that Gus Wolinski? Pretty sure I caught a ride with him and the Kenosha Kickers when they were touring around the Great Lakes region one year. Totally a great dude too.
Obviously true, but he had youthful look about him even at the age of 44.

He died 23 years ago though. It's just insane how time passes.

Its a few picture of him, obviously starting to decay and covered in his own vomit. Its pretty fucked up to see, considering how much everyone loved him. Not how you want to picture such a great person.

I think it's more a factor of him being fat. As a youth, he looked haggard, and as an adult it gave him a baby face. That and him always being clean shaven aids in his boyishness. (as is the style for that generation).

My mother worked with John Candy's mother. He would pick up both his mother and my mother and give her a drive home. He was about 17 or 18 at the time. She keeps telling me how kind and generous person he was as a teenager and was always making my mother laugh. After, my mother moved in the east coast and had me. I'll always remember my mom seeing John Candy on T.V. for the 1st time in the 80's how happy she was for him. I used to get little stories once in a while about him on how much of a great person he was in real life. R.I.P Mr. Candy.

This whole comment thread compromises 80% of my dad’s commentary around anyone with a noticeable facial mole.

The other 20% is Austin Powers... “moley moley moley...”
