I made a personally requirement that top 20 witnesses should really run full nodes + API node, but I got 2 exception which is steampeak witness and ocd-witness (which I just re-voted) Because I use peakD all the time and also ocd is awesome.
Thanks for the answer! We've considered running a full node to help out but as far as we've heard they're not as required right now and our bot who does the payout distribution of ocdb doesn't take a lot of resources once per day but we're happy to add one if there really is a need and difference to the platform or we expand on needing more traffic ourselves! and thanks! :)
From what I've read at the very least a seed node seems to be the one that we could do with more of, ( I think it's the one that distributes transactions and stuff or something). It's more of a 'more the merrier' kind of thing so long as it's financially viable, and with being a top 20 node I would suspect it is. (based on the $700-800 a week top 20 nodes make, according to the witness reports)
We have a very nice selection of APIs at the moment hopefully most running mira and hivemind and such.
