This is Luna, a sweet dog who came into our lives unexpectedly.
For about 4 years, we only had a cat and we were fine because the space at home was small. Things changed when a friend and her family had to move to another state due to health problems and couldn't take their dog Luna with them.
It wasn't easy for them to leave her behind; abandoning her wasn't an option, so they looked for someone who could give her a new home. When my friend told me about this, I hesitated because I know having a pet is a responsibility. But as the days passed, she couldn't find anyone who could take care of Luna.
I thought about how I would also like help in such a situation, and we accepted Luna with joy.
The first day was chaotic because she was like a wild animal since we were strangers to her and everything was different from what she was used to. She even bit my husband... But by the third day, she was friendlier and even rolled over looking for affection.
It's been a few months now, she's still not the best friend of the cat, but they're getting there. Luna is a very cheerful, loving, and crazy dog. Every morning when I open the door, she comes running happily, I think to say "Good morning."

Ella es Luna, una perribecha que llegó a nuestras vidas de una forma inesperada.
Desde hace unos 4 años tenemos sólo una gato y estabamos bien pues era pequeño el espacio en casa. Las cosas cambiaron cuando una amiga y su familia debieron mudarse a otro estado debido a problemas de salud y no tenian como llevar a su perrita Luna.
No fue fácil para ellos tener que dejarla, no era opción abandonarla y por eso buscaron quien le brindara un nuevo hogar. Cuando mi amiga me habló sobre esto, dudé porque sé que es una responsabilidad tener una mascota. Pero fueron pasando los días y ella no encontraba nadie que pudiese cuidar a Luna.
Pensé en que a mi también me gustaria ayuda en un momento así, y aceptamos a Lunita con alegría.
Ese primer día fue un show pues ella se volvió una fiera pues eramos desconocidos para ella y todo era diferente a lo que ella estaba acostumbrada. Hasta mordió a mi esposo... Pero ya al tercer día era más amigable y hasta se ponía de panza para arriba en busca de cariño.
De eso ya hacen unos meses, aún no es la mejor amiga del gato pero allí van. Luna es una perrita muy alegre, amorosa y loca. Todas las mañanas al abrir la puerta va corriendo a brincarme toda feliz creo que a decirme "Buenos días".

El proceso de adaptación de Luna no debe haber sido fácil, aún a sido esta dando lo mejor de sí y me alegro de que haya encontrado un hogar lleno de amor y paciencia.
Es cierto amiga, ha sido un proceso para ella y para nosotros. Pero ha sido grato el tenerla, sus ocurrencias nos hacen reir 😁. Gracias por tus palabras 🌻
Hahaha little by little she will adapt, it's a matter of giving her time and space, yes, they have to train her well and teach her to behave, but little by little she will improve her behavior and adaptation hehe
