Carrying forward a Christian family can be a challenge, more in these times when technology exerts so much influence on people, it seems a competition between the values and principles instilled in the family Proverbs 22:6 and the sometimes hateful imitation of fictional characters whose personality attracts like snake charmers to the most vulnerable members of our family; in some cases keeping them isolated within an imaginary bubble that becomes impenetrable to those whom it decides to leave out.
It is important to be clear that the family was designed by God himself according to his original plan Genesis 1:27-28 to populate and master the earth; and after centuries away from God, she is again brought to the fore by the grace of God, who through his son Jesus adopts us again to reintegrate into the original plan that I design.
To ensure the fulfillment of this plan this time the Father made sure to leave enough help in the person of the Holy Ghost so that with his guidance and direction we may attain the stature of the perfect man who is Christ Jesus; in other words let's develop his character; it is there that the family nucleus comes into play by establishing in each individual the principles that applied become values and develop character.
In times of pandemic, the need for family union is emphasized 1 Chronicles 16:28-29, praying together and crying out to the Lord Deuteronomy 6:6-7 so that despite the health and economic crisis the family may remain united Mark 3:25 and strengthened, this is extended to the brethren of faith throughout the world, as does the word we pray for one another to be strengthened in the Lord.
James 5:16 New International Version
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
The Lord tells us in his word that we must pray for one another and in this case it would be a specific cry for the strengthening of the families who need to be more united in this time than ever to face this global pandemic and the consequences it has brought on the economy and the society at large.
