Description from Strava:
Another morning run from the hotel and it was nice out there. This time I went the other way past the race course and then into the woods. Someone has been chopping lots of logs. There were signs about the local wildlife, but I just saw and heard the birds. I have seen red squirrels around the hotel.
It was a very flat run. At the far end it changed from forest track to concrete path that felt a little harder to run on. That took me to the river and back to the hotel.
This was enough of a run to start the day and set me up for a big hotel breakfast of yoghurt and fruit, then scrambled eggs. They do good coffee too.
