Last saturday, we went to a mall to buy ingredients for the spaghetti and saw this bazaar at the mall atrium. Bazaars at malls occur ocassionally and of course, there would most likely be one happening during this holiday.
After doing grocery, we went to see what the bazaar has.
There were lots of items sold from phone cases, to bags and purses, personalized decors, sandals, foods like sushi and rice cakes.
I saw the sandals first. They looked nice and made me want to buy one. But I decided that we go to other stalls first to see what's in there.

Then we saw this rice cake stall which captured my mom's attention. We bought a pack of green-colored suman, my first time to see a suman in such color.

The seller gave us a free taste. It was still wrapped in banana leaf. So here's a funny story.. I unwrapped the banana leaf and ate the suman and had chewed the food several times already until I realized that there was still banana leaf left. I don't know how to put it out of my mouth since the seller was talking and looking at us, plus, we were at the atrium where on the second floor were lots of people looking down at the bazaar. Ah, hello anxiety!
So we went to the sandals stall next, still the leaf on my mouth. Haha! I tried on some sandals and they looked really good. I was already about to pick something I would buy when I overheard somebody that the sandals' strap felt sharp on the edges. I tried to feel it and it really is! I ended up not buying it. If it's not comfortable then I won't purchase it, even though it costs only 2 bucks! As we walked to a less crowded place, a brought out a napkin and remove the leaf trapped in my mouth. Lol.
We cooked it with egg the next day and this what it looked like. 😋
