Good morning! The other day, my mother went to the market and got these cute-sized dragon fruits! They're just about the size of a fist and they're only Php 15 (0.30 USD) each. Do you like dragon fruit?
I love dragon fruit because of its texture and color. The seeds are fun to chew just like on strawberries, but strawberries are getting no cheaper so I'm good with dragon fruit. There is actually two kinds of flesh color of the fruit: white and dark pink. The latter tastes sweeter.
We already ate the two yesterday morning, and if I have time later I'll try making a dragon fruit ice cream! I wonder how it would taste like. I'm excited!!!
We have plenty of dragon fruit plants we are trying to grow since January, however, I'm not sure if they'll bear fruit someday. It takes almost a year before it will bear fruit (if taken care of properly). Imagine just picking one in your backyard when you crave for some! What a beautiful life it must be! Lol.
These are expensive when storebought. Even if I wanted to, the price really forces me to put it down.

That's true! But it's dragon fruit season right now according to the seller that's why it's cheap. Maybe someone's selling the fruit at the market near you for a cheaper price too. :D
