Why do people need a hobby?
To have fun? To relax? To refresh their energy?
All of this and even more - to feel unity with our soul.
Our job isn't always our hobby. In most cases it's far from it, and it's just earning money. So people spend time of their life to get money for life. But what about soul?
What about our real pleasure and real wishes?
Do you agree that when we are doing what we really like we don't notice time?
We are not tired at all, and we are never lazy.
We always are glad to do what we really like - our hobby.
It happens because we're in deep contact with our nature and soul, it's a moment of harmony and peace inside. It's time of rest and inner development. It's time of getting power and inspiration.
Books have been my main hobby since my childhood.
Now things are the same, but...it seems to me I've found a new passion for me.
It's a diamond mosaic!
My friend gave me such a picture with hundreds of diamonds as my bday gift last year. I was happy because I always wanted to try but never bought them beacuse I wasn't sure I would like the process.
But I liked it from the very first moments!
This picture was rather easy, and my son and me made it just for some days.
It was a cat.
But my friend knows I am fond of mandalas and spiritual practices, so she spent much time seeking a mandala picture for me. So sweet of her!
Here she is, she was pregnant at that time;)
And she did it! She found a mandala diamond picture for me!😍
Now I've my new challenge and my new passion - my diamond mandala!
It's very complicated, it consists of thousand of tiny diamonds! It is really only for experienced masters, so I need more time for it, but I do like the process!
And how great result I will get!
My son often helps me too, and though he is very active and doesn't like sitting long, when he is doing it, he is absolutely calm. Fantastic effect;)
It's really hard, it requires much attention, but I'm resting doing it, and I adore harmony feeling inside when I'm totally involved into my passion hobby.😍

Wow, this looks so interesting. I am sure it will be a good amount of effort, and lot of concentration and focus. By the time you will finish it, the Mandala will do it's job. As a kid I remember one of my hobby was cross stitch work, and I used to needle up some really good designs. Seeing your hobby takes me back to those memories. Have a very happy time doing your hobby work my dear.
