The economic numbers in the West are looking very poor. We are at a time when the market are at all time highs. There is a bet being place that the vaccine will roll out without a problem and things will return to economic normalcy.
In this video I discuss how the markets could be in for some headwinds. We are seeing the sustaining of basically dead companies, something that ends up detracting from the entire system.

One only needs to look at Japan to see how zombie companies affect the economy. Their legislature doesn't want company to go under and this has caused their economy to pretty much stagnate while the rest of the world's was mainly going up during the past decade. Unfortunately, I do not have much trust in the government not trying to kick the can down the road. Most of them do not have the courage to inform the public and have avoided many issues. This is evident with how the recently passed stimulus was passed by Congress at the last minute so people wouldn't have time to read it before voting.
