Market Friday nautical

This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I am going to share some shots of a nautical market kind of theme
Starting with this shot of the Milford Boat Works, a pretty cool looking building, both inside and out, I visited there once to deliver a couple of prints they wanted to decorate an office in there, but for today's post, I am just sharing the outside, As I understand it they have been around since 1946 and provide Marine Services and sell marine craft and have been since 1946

And alongside the Building in the first shot, showing some of the Yachts they currently have for sale, now I do not know a lot about yachts or any marine vehicles but they look pretty classy and a good range to me.

And across the road from the Boat works building is the SHipstore, which I think is part of the same company, and I do love the mural they have

Sometimes the buildings and places in your town remind me of the town my wife grew up in. It is right on the shore of the bay and there is a big river that runs through it. It is an international port. Not on the ocean, but the Great Lakes are still pretty big. Nice photos!
I remember seeing part of the great lakes and how big they are such a beautiful area from what I remember

Great photos. The boat works is a really cool looking building.
One cool thing about hanging out with my brother at his place. Sooner or later we are going to end up at a boat supply store (or chandler). So much cool stuff to look at! I'm a big form/function guy and a lot of that stuff I had never seen :)
All he gets to see in that vein is Motorcycle Supply which we end up at sooner or later when I am the host.

This Boat Works house looks cool and somehow unreal clean - the sky reflected in the windows makes it almost look like you can see through the house.
A small sailing yacht would be something I'd like to have at our lake, but there would have to be a fridge for the !BEER on board, as you might remember 😉

Ohh yes and the yacht would also need solar panels and perhaps a generator to run the fridge and charge the camera, computer etc etc etc LOL yes I do remember

Good morning @tattoodjay That Milford boat works is such an example of the New England coastal look of today. One gets used of multipaned windows, greyed cedar shakes and honest white railed porches set under straightforward gable ends. Of course, traveling other places we see what a vernacular bit of kit it all is.
I hope you find your saturday a good one and are coping with the 'lock down' :)
