I agree, patience is important. Bad days always suck and always will. They change your mindset and your thinking which can be dangerous. Glad you made the trek to Everest base camp, I did once upon a time when I was younger. It was rough, I wouldn't even try it now! It was an amazing experience though! I was lucky not to have weather get in the way like you did, that would must have been rough. I was used to altitudes, but nothing like base camp. Every step was like a marathon near the end...

It was my first time on such a high altitude and also being alone, I am not a person who can bear cold temperatures. My holidays are always very cozy and comfortable. This trip was all about challenging my own limitations and I am glad I could do it. But honestly again, I will not be able to.
