Call to Action! (Twitter Contest)

Hey Hivers!

I've been seeing interest in Hive ramp up recently and have been hearing all kinds of questions from the outside community looking in.

For instance, today I just saw a tweet by Crystal Rose Pierce the wife of famous crypto OG & billionaire entrepreneur Brock Pierce, and she is interested in Hive!

These are a great opportunity to market/teach Hive to new people!

This is why I always say BUIDl during the BEAR! BUIDling also includes yourself, your speaking ability, knowledge of projects you're invested in, etc. One of the best skills one can have in business is to be able to explain something they love that is complex in a simple to understand manner.

“Think about something you deeply love. Take a few minutes to prepare and then teach it to me in a few minutes.” - Chamath Palihapitiya

Crystal Rose Pierce on Twitter:

"Please explain the benefits of Hive (web3) versus Medium (web 2.0) for personal blogs.

Hive vs. Medium"

Link:

I am giving out upvotes to people who contribute by leaving a Tweet doing your best to explain the benefits of Hive vs Medium (Web 3 vs Web 2 basically)

I'll choose the best 3 tweets to Crystal's question and give them 25 Hive each ontop of the upvote! The contest for the 25 x3 ends tomorrow and will be rewarded on the 19th.

Drop your tweet link below! (make sure to go through the tweets posted here and show love to good answers!)

I had basically retweeted and answered to her tweet as well. And she's acknowledged my answer by liking it. So here's the link to my tweet Dan. This is great for hive.

i did my best i guess, lol

Your blog on Medium is like a house you rent. Piss off your landlord, and you're out. Or if they feel like they can earn more by NOT having you on THEIR property, they have all the power to enforce that

A blog on Hive is a house you own. Whatever value you create there is yours.

HIVE is the perfect evolution of Medium

Thanks for your steady action @theycallmedan!

Here is my answer:

What about this one

from a "close friend"?

Gave my two cents😊✌️

Here's my two cents.

Supporting the initiative

My answer:

It's about ownership, resistance to censorship and the ability to build micro-economies and micro-nations on top of your content.

Hive is superior to platforms like Medium because it offers an immutable stake to content creators - it allows for longevity and long-term thinking.

It is necessary to continue explaining to the large investors about the HIVE proposal, here I continue to contribute to the growth and promotion of HIVE. Cheers.

#hive. It is an extraordinary platform, decentralized, growing, very complete. In real-time. You generate original content that monetizes from the first moment.

I have shared my short observation and compared Hive with Medium, actually wrote that as a Hive article, and shared this post on the tweet about the comparison.

Lol her tweets have never been this busy -

Because her question was very specific. I tried to help by getting bit deeper into her concern.

"The personal blog is an ongoing online diary or commentary written by an individual, rather than a corporation or organization. While the vast majority of personal blogs attract very few readers, other than the blogger's immediate family and friends."

Personal Blogging on Medium has:-

  1. Poor Monetisation for P. Blog vs. Hive appreciate every story and monetisation of your content happen instantly.

  2. Poor Engagement due to lack of rewards for people who engage with the content vs. Hive pays for this engagement.

  3. Medium has an algorithm based on which your content get popularity, money etc. vs. Hive has people, and only your relationships will decide how much you will make.

So, make more relationships on hive and get better appreciation.
