However, something has caught my attention in this day and age. People are competing to be white. What's wrong with having white skin? Of course not. This isn't about race. It's about social beliefs that I think are increasingly toxic. The new standard, especially in my country, is that beautiful people must be white. Oh, that's certainly not normal. My citizens are of Melanesian descent with darker skin types, as well as Malayan Mongoloids with slightly lighter skin tones than the Melanesian race. But does that mean we aren't beautiful? Absolutely wrong. All women, regardless of ethnicity, race, or skin color, can be beautiful.

However, due to the wave of "white addiction," many social media influencers have been showing off the results of injections to brighten their skin tone. You know what happened next, right? Huge influencers, with hundreds of thousands, even millions, undergoing medical procedures that aren't even recommended, certainly have an impact on their followers. Ultimately, many people become dissatisfied with their original skin.
Once again, it's not the whitening itself that's wrong, but the dangerous method. Many medical experts have openly educated the public that whitening injections are unsafe and can have harmful effects on users over a period of time.
And I think I can admit to being a small-time social observer. After many medical experts educated me about the dangers of whitening injections, I then researched the possible dangers of whitening injections. Do you know how many relevant results there were? 10,000 articles! Imagine that's a fantastic number, right? This means it's already a warning, because so many articles have deliberately discussed these issues. Some of the serious effects of whitening injections include liver and kidney damage, and severe allergies! That's that dangerous.

However, the accumulated potential for errors from whitening injections is that people can develop autoimmune disorders. Some social media influencers have had to undergo lifelong treatment for autoimmune diseases. Where did it start? Yep... whitening vitamin injections.
How do I resist pressure and adapt to it? Simply by being myself, of course. I have principles and a broad perspective on how society works. It's their choice to take that toxic path and the risks it entails, but I still occasionally make small, influential suggestions that it's okay to have healthy skin. Health is an absolute price. I'll happily commend those who strive to remain confident in their genetic skin. Those who show the wider community that beauty doesn't have to be white if it ends up hurting themselves.
What do you think? Was my opinion too harsh?

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
please share my content if you feel my content is good for everyone to read. Thank you. Let's be friends!
Oh my! I can't see how taking injections and various treatments could possibly be good! I can tell you that I have a redhead's complexion. What that means is that I burn way too easily in the sun; I freckle a bit as well and I scar easily if cut. There will always be pros and cons to anything, but honestly, I can't imagine why anyone would want to inject themselves to get fairer skin!
It's amazing to me the things people are willing to do to their ONE body they get for their whole life without thought to the consequences of what they are doing can be to that body. Just look at pharmaceuticals-the side effects for just about all of them is over the top!
We are beautiful the way that we are made; unfortunately for a lot, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence! I am glad you don't buy into all that stuff!
Take care and thank you for sharing; have a lovely day! !LADY

That's why I'm so hurt by this phenomenon. I fear it will continue into the next generation. What's most important, though, is the harmful consequences for their bodies. I hope more people will be inspired to maintain healthy skin instead of trying to whiten it the wrong way. Thank you for your insight. We women are born beautiful, I agree! Sending hugs! @elizabethbit
You are so welcome sis! Take care and keep on getting the word out to your fellow country women and around the globe! Take care! 🤗❤️🌹
And that is why I don't have Cable TV, Magazine subscriptions, advertising in my home and hang around sensible people as role models rather than following advice of Mass media and celebrities who don't know better.

I agree with you! I don't subscribe to cable TV like you either. Yeah, we're on the same page. And for social media, I prefer influencers who raise positive issues like education, politics, the environment, and the like. We need a healthy mind. Thank you for your insight. @kerrislravenhill
The media is filled with so many influences that could derail one from their purpose if not used carefully. Skin whitening and botox treatments are one of those influences and none of these public figures like to take accountability on their own part. That's why it's important to filter out what we listen to and which celebrities we follow.
We don't want to end up undergoing procedures that reeks of low-self esteem. I do hope the young ones realizes that we're all beautiful in our skin and no colour is superior to the other. Thanks for writing a nice and thoughtful post. Have a great day.
OMG! I'm touched by your writing. I have the same big hopes as you. What sometimes worries me is that some of my close friends are starting to feel insecure about their skin, or their faces, which I think are fine. In the sense that their faces are clean and quite healthy. However, because of irresponsible influencers and unreasonable social beliefs, they never feel that it's enough. Thank you for the insight, have a nice day @yechee
