Depends on the bike. I personally ride bmx and love the feeling of crusing around with some speed, places a car wouldn't fit. Hopping around up & down stairs or over dirt jumps in the woods. There's nothing like it.

Are you loking at different options for transportation, based on comfort? If so, what are your other choices?

But it is better as walking, it caries the shoppings and it goes fast if the road is good.

This is depending on the bicycle.
If I can touch the ground with my foots, while I sit on the bicycle, then yes, the bicycle is a comfortable vehicle.
