McD on ALD’s or McD on Adrenoleukodystrophy
Many will simply just see “McDonald’s”, especially those that work or go to McDonald’s. But what about the outsider that sees “McD’s” on “AIDS”? Because our human brain recognition absent of programming would see this first as “AIDS” is much more recognized than “Ald” which is autocorrected to “Alf” because of another layer of programming.
By the way McD’s in ALDs would be McD’s on Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), which is a rare genetic disease that can progress to a serious and life-threatening condition.
Just an example of possible better design and word choices due to things we sometimes don’t understand.
