Last post, without realising it, it's been a few days! I am back to Bangkok from a small trip with my family to Rayong, Thailand.
The place we went is the area just right by a river. The small street that's even hard for a car to pass by. Both side of the streets have all the small shops/ businesses owned by locals. This charming little town called 'Prasae'.
I love the way how they still live the old ways lifestyle. Most of the houses have been there already over a century (All wooden!). I have captured some of the houses I was impressed of. Something like, this grocery store that on the left sell random stuffs and on the right sell medicines and herbs.
Another shop we walked past was this small minimart (if I could call it that?) with a small stall in front selling typical snack.
While walking around finding some dinner, I realised there's not many car or not at all drove through the street. They mostly drove motorbike, scooter, or the thing pretty much like Tuk Tuk but not exactly it.
Weird looking shellfish
We were actually recommended to go check out a restaurant called 'J Nong' as it's one of the best around there. One thing on the special menu was this stir fry shellfish (Weird one I have never seen) and salak (Spiky fruit). Not sure if you've ever seen this type. It was my very first time and dang, how crispy this thing could be!
The restaurant has such lovely view of the sea!! The meal was alright. Not as good as they said but it was reasonable priced. Tons of local food (Only at Prasae) served here so most likely I will re-visit when going to the town again.
It's a lovely one I would recommend you check the town out if you ever go visit Rayong!!
