Based on character building to self love and acceptance, Beauty Inside starring Seo Hyun Jin, Lee Min Ki, Lee Da Hee an Ahn Jae Hyun is a 16 episode drama about top actress Han Se Gye (played by Seo Hyun Jin) and her mysterious phenomenon of changing appearance, sex and age at certain times each month. Due to the unknown reason of her changes, she suffers being unable to attend filming or fulfil her schedules when her appearance changes and it affects her as an actress.
Han Se Gye meets Seo Do Jae (played by Lee Min Ki), a smart executive who works at an airline company. Lee Min Ki's downfall is that he suffers from prosopagnosia, the inability to recognise faces. He lives by hiding his disability to recognise faces by memorising people by their traits such as their mannerism, voice, hair or even habits. He however manages to recognise Han Se Gye despite of her change of form. The two eventually fall in love.
Han Se Gye fights with herself and learns to love every form she has become. She learns that all of them are still her and she accepts who she is and accepts the changes to herself each time. She takes a photo of herself everytime she changes and each photo is hung on the wall in her home as a reminder to herself.

In a way, I loved how this drama played out although one may say it gets repetitive. There are so many people in this society who cannot accept the way they look or who they are and wished they were someone else. When you're someone else, do you ever wished you were yourself or someone you consider better? There is no satisfaction and this drama shows that through it's own way where you cannot choose to be who you want to be and for you to only be yourself. Love yourself. It's not your looks that matter but what is inside you.

I haven’t watched it but watched one which has same title and concept of changing appearance.
It’s called The Beauty Inside but was filmed in 2015 :)
I definitely agree with only being yourself.
